What is Life
Coaching? It is about helping people to get from where they are to
where they want to get to?
No matter how
successful we are, deep inside ourselves we know that there are some
areas that we need to focus on to achieve what we would like in those
areas.
But daily
activities just seem to go on autopilot mode and these things just are
temporarily forgotten. It is not that we do not know what to do... it
is just we don't do it.
This is where
Life Coaching comes in. It helps people to break down the barriers that
keep us from achieving what we want.
It is no
different from going to a Personal Fitness Trainer.
They will first
ask you for you goals:
Lose weight?
Lose fat?
Build muscle?
Build endurance?
Increase stamina?
Etc
They will then
assess where you are relative to where you want to be. After
establishing where you are and where you want to be, they will then
work out a plan for you to achieve that.
Along the way,
the trainer will encourage and motivate you to achieve your goals.
The end goal of
a trainer is to help you achieve your goals a lot quicker and more
effectively than if you did it yourself.
A Life Coach
does the same as a Personal Trainer but with different areas in your
life.
