It is possible to make money online with blogging. In fact, for people who are starting new, this may be the least cost way of doing so and learning the required techniques before spending money on other products, services and tools.

If you have access to internet, then to start a blog will cost with you nothing. You can start with Google's blogger.com or wordpress.com. Although I have used both, I am more familiar with blogger, so I will refer more to blogger.

Since I started working with the internet to generate income, have had guidance from different programs and different gurus. Most of them seem to choose to teach a proper structured way so that one can maximize revenue. But I wish they had just asked me to learn to make money online with blogging first. Then only to go to other stuff.

I can understand why the gurus guide in a structured way but it all gets overwhelming with so many different aspects to be catered for. Furthermore, it may be easier to learn it in an environment that does not continuously require committing more investment when I cannot see any money coming in. If they had only shown how to make money online with blogging alone first, I could have learnt the basic skills that are needed using this free method.

You can set up a blogger account for free. Modifying the look and feel is so easy now compared to before. Absolutely no tinkering with HTML code is needed. It is so easy to set up Adsense and changing the colors to match your blog template is very intuitive.

Coming back on how to make money online with blogging, besides Adsense, you can also include Affiliate links in your blog posts and also on the common areas in the blog.

All of this is not going to cost any money if you already have internet access.

Let's be real! At this point can you make money online with blogging alone? Most probably not. You have set up shop, but there are no window shoppers.

This is where a newbie has to start learning about keywords and fitting the keywords into the blog posts in a natural way for their posts to be able to appear when people search for the topic.

Submitting articles, also for free, will help generate traffic back to the blog where you have your Adsense and affiliate links to make money online with blogging. The keywords insertion also applies for articles.

So, it is possible to make money online with blogging. Just blogging alone may not be sufficient, unless your blog has content which is very interesting and generates a following. The point that I am making here is that to make money online with blogging is the lesser cost way to start learning all the techniques first before we get into the world of setting up websites.
